DRAFT ACTION PLAN 2020-2025
In the Memorandum of Association of Henfield Community Partnership Limited, the objects of the Partnership are stated to be:
The purpose of the Community Action Plan is to focus the minds of the management committee on the issues it anticipates being relevant; also, to be aware of and manage relevant issues and projects that have not yet been anticipated.
Henfield Community Partnership will produce an integrated plan, in collaboration with the Parish Council, to promote and enable the Health and Wellbeing of Henfield residents, businesses and the village as a whole. A community-centred approach to build on individual and community assets (skills, knowledge, social networks and community organisations) to mobilise community resources and energy to enable efficient delivery. The aim would be to have full community ownership which will ultimately lead to longer term sustainability and community and individual resilience.

- To help implement the actions in the current Henfield Community Action Plan,
- To work together on issues and projects of interest and concern to Henfield and its surrounding communities in order to secure its long-term viability as a centre for social, business and cultural activities and to maintain its particular character and heritage,
- To review progress against and update as required the Action Plan and to be aware of and incorporate arising community concerns where applicable.

1. Issues that have been identified as being of interest and concern
1.1 Personal Wellbeing for all ages
1.2 Local & Visitor Economy – promoting and supporting local businesses and help making Henfield an attractive and
interesting place to visit.
1.3 Local environment (natural and built) in terms of Sustainability and access, safety etc.
1.4 Enabling and supporting clubs, societies groups carrying out social, cultural and wellbeing activities for all ages in
the community.

2. Criteria for projects
2.1 It addresses one of the issues identified above or a similar issue that is for the benefit of those who live or work in
Henfield.
2.2 It co-ordinates with and complements the work of the Parish Council and does not without very good reason
conflict with actions or proposals of any other local group or organisation.
2.3 Its delivery can be defined and objectively assessed.
